Our Pillars of Faith
At The Whole Word Christian Church, we are a people deeply in love with God and His Word. We are committed with all our hearts to teaching and living the whole Word of God — every page of the Old and New Testaments — because we believe the Bible is the living, breathing voice of our Heavenly Father speaking directly to us today.
We believe that a transformed life flows from prioritizing and passionately pursuing these

FOUR MAIN PILLARS OF FAITH:
Truth | Prayer | Discipleship | Service
Truth
We believe that a transformed life comes from prioritizing Truth. We hold firmly to the truth of Scripture as the foundation of our faith and practice. The Word of God illuminates our path, convicts our hearts, and equips us for every good work.
Prayer
We believe that a transformed life comes from prioritizing Prayer. We depend on prayer as the lifeline of our relationship with God. In prayer, we worship, seek His face, intercede, and receive the power of the Holy Spirit for daily living and ministry.
Discipleship
We believe that a transformed life comes from prioritizing Discipleship. We are committed to making and becoming disciples of Jesus Christ through life-on-life relationships, biblical teaching, and mutual accountability, growing toward Christlike maturity and holiness.
Service
We believe that a transformed life comes from prioritizing Service. Motivated by the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, we serve our community and the world through practical acts of compassion, justice, and mission, embodying His Gospel in word and deed.
Our Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of The Whole Word Christian Church, Inc. based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
With hearts full of awe and gratitude, we joyfully affirm the following beautiful truths from Scripture:
With hearts full of awe and gratitude, we joyfully affirm the following beautiful truths from Scripture:
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It alone is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV)
God
There is one true God, eternally self-existent, who has revealed Himself as the Father and as Jesus Christ the Son. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1-3)
Jesus Christ
Jesus of Nazareth (Yeshua) is the Messiah, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose victorious, and now serves as our High Priest. He will return as King of Kings to establish God’s Kingdom. (John 1:1-14; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 4:14-15)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the power and presence of God that begets, transforms, comforts, and empowers believers. (John 14:16-17; Romans 8:9-11; Acts 2:38)
God’s Law and the Sabbath
We uphold God’s commandments, including the seventh-day Sabbath as a holy gift and sign between God and His people. (Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah 58:13-14; Luke 4:16; Hebrews 4:9-10)
God’s Annual Holy Days
We observe the seven appointed Holy Days of Leviticus 23 as shadows pointing to Jesus Christ and God’s plan of salvation.
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. True salvation is evidenced by repentance, obedience, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2:8-9; James 2:17-18)
Baptism and Laying on of Hands
We practice water baptism by immersion and the laying on of hands for the receiving of the Holy Spirit, healing, and ordination. (Acts 2:38; Hebrews 6:1-2)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of spiritual gifts for empowerment and service. (Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12)
Divine Healing
Healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is available to believers today through prayer and anointing. (Isaiah 53:4-5; James 5:13-16)
Biblical Marriage, Family & Modesty
We uphold God’s design for marriage between one biological man and one biological woman, biblical family roles, and modesty that honors God. (Genesis 2:24; Deuteronomy 22:5; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Timothy 2:9-10)
Biblical Dietary Laws
We honor the scriptural distinction between clean and unclean foods as part of living a set-apart life. (Leviticus 11; Deuteronomy 14)
